See How Jadon Sancho insulted Manchester United fans with he did yesterday for Borussia Dortmund yesterday
On his first day back at the team, Jadon Sancho kissed the Borussia Dortmund badge. He shouldn’t be shocked to hear that this has offended Manchester United supporters.
After receiving a three-month break from the previous season, Sancho was welcomed back with open arms by the Old Trafford supporters, who gave him a standing ovation on February 1 against Nottingham Forest.
When Sancho appeared from the bench and his smile was seen from the Stretford End, his name was chanted for the first time. He thanked everyone in the stadium for their cordial welcome after the final siren, which was obviously very meaningful.
The enthusiastic reception Sancho received following an approved leave of absence by Erik ten Hag demonstrated the support United fans had been showing for him.
The winger took a break from social media and worked out alone with coaches in the Netherlands during his time away from the team in November and December.
Sancho was not present at the winter training camp in Spain, and every effort was made to ensure that he would return to a state of physical and mental well-being.
After making his comeback to action in February, it was anticipated that Sancho would excel; however, he had a dismal season finale and looked smaller than usual against Manchester City in the FA Cup final in June.
A few months later, Sancho took to social media in an extraordinary way and effectively called his manager a liar, which resulted in his expulsion from the first team and his staring at the exit.

Sancho declined to offer an apology, carried on training alone, and no agreement could be reached; however, he was forced to leave during the January transfer window and has since re-signed with Dortmund. “I’m so happy to be back. “I consider Dortmund to be like home,” Sancho remarked at his German unveiling.
Dortmund’s badge kiss is made even more bizarre by the fact that the loan agreement does not include a buyout option and Dortmund will only pay an initial €3.5 million. The deal runs until June 30, 2024.
When Sancho kissed the Dortmund badge directly in front of the camera, he did it with complete awareness. On social media, it has irritated United supporters because it was tone deaf.
Any loan player knows that it is improper to kiss a badge, even in the absence of Sancho’s departure. His timekeeping has always been an issue; he was granted three months off; when he had a disagreement with Ten Hag, he refused to apologize like a little child; and he was still paid a lot of money.
After a three-month hiatus, United supporters had been behind him, and he has now turned that support around on them. Perhaps the last straw in this whole sorry tale was the disrespectful kissing of the badge.
Sancho’s relief at rejoining Dortmund after being left out at Carrington is understandable, but he needs to focus and perform well on the field.
By kissing the badge, Sancho only offended a small group of devoted supporters, and many believed it to be the last time he would play for Old Trafford.

Others might think the badge kiss is insignificant and that Sancho made an impulsive, stupid decision, but Sancho is almost 24 years old and needs to understand his obligations as a player.
Actions have repercussions, and Sancho’s bond with his supporters—who stood by him during his low points—may not be able to be salvaged at this point.
That doesn’t imply that Dortmund’s supporters hate Sancho, and it’s in everyone’s best interests for him to play well so that he can be traded for a long-term contract in the summer.
However, Sancho and United are not happy together, and a divorce is required.
