Man Utd will need to pay around £103m for 13-goal star striker with Chelsea keen as well to sign the superstar
Manchester United are eager to enhance their offensive options in the upcoming summer transfer window and have pinpointed Victor Osimhen as a potential acquisition.
The Nigerian player has become a top-tier striker and is expected to be a valuable addition to the Red Devils. According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester United will need to pay approximately €120 million (£103m) for the striker.
Osimhen has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in all competitions this season.
Rasmus Hojlund, a summer acquisition, has displayed remarkable performance lately. However, the skilled young Danish player requires additional assistance in the offensive department.
Acquiring a more established goal-scorer like Osimhen would be a prudent choice given his current standing as one of the top players on the field. He contributed to Napoli’s league title victory last season and has the potential to elevate Manchester United to serious championship contenders.
Manchester United has had a subpar season and may fail to qualify for the Champions League. Failing to achieve a top result may hinder their ability to lure world-class players such as Osimhen.
The 25-year-old Napoli forward aims to play at the top level and sign with a club that can win significant prizes.
Osimhen has been associated with various Premier League clubs, although it is uncertain where he will ultimately sign.
According to Fichajes, the player is being considered by Premier League competitors Chelsea, and he has previously expressed his interest in transferring to Stamford Bridge.
