DONE AGREED: Few minutes after Erik ten Hag comments on Star, Man United finally agree to sell the superstar who was criticize by Erik ten Hag yesterday
According to reports, Manchester United and Scott McTominay have reached an agreement to trade the midfield player.
This summer, the midfield player has been strongly linked to a move away from Old Trafford. His agreement expires in 2025, though an extension of one year is possible.
The 27-year-old started in both of United’s Premier League debuts this season and came on as a substitute for 12 minutes during Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Brighton.
However, United has now made the decision to let him leave the team.
According to The Athletic, McTominay’s transfer from Napoli to them is set to happen for a price of about €30 million.
Should McTominay and the Italian team reach an agreement, the Scotland international’s 22-year relationship with United will come to an end, and the Red Devils have included a sell-on clause in the deal.
