CONFIRMED! Man United willing to offer £85m Brazilian forward for Real Sociedad superstar attacker who Xavi called ‘World class’

VERIFIED! Real Sociedad’s star attacker, whom Xavi referred to as “World class,” has a striker in Man United who is willing to offer £85 million for.
According to the Sun, Manchester United wants to sign Real Sociedad attacker Takefusa Kubo and is prepared to pay Antony to help make the transfer happen.

After spending £85 million to join the Red Devils from Ajax last summer, the Brazilian has not impressed. In 18 games this season across all competitions, he has neither scored nor assisted.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Man United, is looking for a replacement and has at least seven times this season sent scouts to watch Kubo.

The Red Devils also kept an eye on the 22-year-old Japan international, who was named Player of the Match during Sunday’s goalless draw with Real Betis.

The Red Devils also kept an eye on the 22-year-old Japan international, who was named Player of the Match during Sunday's goalless draw with Real Betis.

The La Masia graduate, who moved to Real Madrid in 2019 before leaving for Sociedad last summer after loan stints at Mallorca, Villarreal, and Getafe, will continue to be watched closely by Man Utd.

After finishing the previous season with nine goals and four assists in 35 league games, Kubo has created 31 chances, scored six goals, and assisted three more in 16 league games thus far this term. Barcelona manager Xavi was impressed when the two clubs recently met, labeling the Japanese a “world-class” player.

A player with such versatility and impact in the final third, Man United could really use him.

The La Liga team has a contract with him through 2027, but they would take a bid of about £43 million. The Red Devils may agree to sign Antony in exchange for a loan.

Although Man United is a large club, they will need to be competing in the Champions League next season in order to have any chance of attracting Kubo to Old Trafford. There will be other suitors watching Kubo closely.

With Napoli offering him £26 million in the summer, the attacker knows he has what it takes to play for the biggest teams in Europe. By the end of the season, he will have no shortage of high-level suitors.
