Breaking News: He is very keen to play at Old Trafford – Man United eyeing January move for surprise 41 goals Argentine striker as Rasmus Hojlund upgrade as Garnacho confirms players interest
He is eager to play at Old Trafford; Man United is considering a January transfer in order to score an unexpected 41 goals. Mauro Icardi, an Argentine striker who may be seeking a fresh challenge away from Galatasaray, could be on Manchester United’s radar for an unexpected loan move as Rasmus Hojlund improves and Garnacho confirms the players interest.
Manchester United is reportedly interested in loaning Mauro Icardi in January, according to Football Transfers.
The unexpected action was taken in response to Erik ten Hag’s desperate search for a new goal-scoring option for his forward line. The Argentine forward is still open to taking on a challenge outside of Galatasaray.
Galatasaray will undoubtedly believe that signing Mauro Icardi from PSG was the right move. During the summer, the Argentine forward finalized his transfer when the Turkish team agreed to pay him €10 million.
Icardi, on the other hand, has excelled in the striker position, contributing 23 goals in 25 games across all competitions. The Argentine forward was also a standout player at Old Trafford earlier in the season, aiding his team’s victory over Manchester United—who, coincidentally, happens to be interested in him.
Erik ten Hag has a few names on their shortlist, but they desperately need a new forward to expand his attacking options. The Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy, who has a £15 million release clause, has been linked to them on a regular basis.
Summertime acquisition In the Premier League, Rasmus Hojlund has failed to score for the thirteenth straight game. While some have criticized the Danish international for not playing well, others have urged Ten Hag to sign a player to relieve the 20-year-old’s workload.
They are also linked to Lois Openda, another forward, but Manchester United would have to incur financial costs to acquire the star player from RB Leipzig. Thus, the club is careful with its January spending, particularly in light of the FFP issues that have existed since the summer.
Real Madrid has expressed interest in Icardi, but the Spanish team might not take action. But, he’s had great stats this season, which might convince Manchester United to look into a transfer.
According to the report, the Argentine forward will get a loan that may include a buyout option.
Galatasaray might end up with a healthy return on their investment at the end of the season, despite their hate for losing their prolific star. In any deal, the Turkish side would surely include a lucrative buy option.
I hope the Argentine forward plays to his level at Manchester United, where they are making an effort.
Icardi is also excited to embark on a new professional challenge. He was previously linked to Manchester United, and now he has the opportunity to sign with the Red Devils and advance his career.
