Arsenal finally About to sign Napoly Ace Victor Osimehn for €100m
European Super League causes uproar as Man Utd and Man City release statements
According to the Athletic, Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko and Evan Ferguson are admired by Arsenal but they are not expected to arrive any time soon. Ferguson and Osimhen will cost in excess of £100million which would prove to be tricky for Arsenal FFP-wise following a summer of heavy spending.
Napoli have slapped a £155m price tag on Osimhen’s head, which would prove to be a record transfer for England’s top flight. Multiple top European clubs are said to be keen on acquiring his services but club president Aurelio de Laurentiis insists only PSG will be able to fork out the staggering fee they are demanding for their star striker.
“I would say that if [Victor] Osimhen stays here, all the better,” he said in an interview with Sport Mediaset. “If he doesn’t, we’ll get over it and there will certainly be a very strong player who can replace him.

“I think that Osimhen will also stay next year. The only team that could sign him is PSG. So if Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants to come up with a 200 million dollar offer, we’ll wait for him and then evaluate.”
Brighton would also want a nine-figure sum for Ferguson and could demand a record fee as they are in no rush to sell the 19-year-old wonderkid, having recently tied him down to a contract extension at the American Express Stadium until 2029.
Man Utd and Man City release statements as the European Super League creates controversy.
Arsenal is said to be admiring Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Sesko, and Evan Ferguson, but they are not anticipated to join anytime soon, according to the Athletic. After a summer of extravagant spending, Ferguson and Osimhen will cost more than £100 million, which could present a financial hardship for Arsenal.
Osimhen has a £155 million price tag attached to him by Napoli, which would set a record for the top flight in England. Although a number of elite European teams are rumored to be interested in signing him, club president Aurelio de Laurentiis maintains that only PSG will be able to pay the enormous sum they are asking for their star striker.
“I think it’s best if [Victor] Osimhen stays here,” he stated in a Sport Mediaset interview. If he doesn’t, we’ll move on and there will undoubtedly be a capable player to take his place.

“I believe Osimhen will return the following year. PSG is the only team in the running to sign him. We will therefore wait for Nasser Al-Khelaifi to make a 200 million dollar offer before assessing.”
Given that Brighton is not in a rush to offload the 19-year-old wonderkid—he recently signed a contract extension at the American Express Stadium through 2029—they could demand a record fee in addition to a nine-figure sum for Ferguson.
