Arsenal’s next-generation Transfer swoop for Mesut Ozil as Mikel Arteta faces a £34 million ultimatum
Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, hopes to bolster his team during the January transfer window.
In an attempt to help the team contend for the Premier League title, Arsenal is seeking to bolster Mikel Arteta’s roster with a few new additions. At the top of the table, the Gunners are engaged in a fierce rivalry with Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.
Arteta recently spoke with Edu Gaspar, the sporting director, about the team’s intentions for January, with the expectation that new players will bolster the roster. In response to a question regarding players quitting this winter, Arteta stated: “Well, it is very difficult at the moment.” We are quite brief.
“Hopefully, players who have been out of the lineup for the past six weeks will return to our positions. When and under what circumstances? That raises questions, and we still have some long-term injuries to some of the players who are a big part of our versatility. With respect to recent additions, Arteta went on: “That’s a different story. All that matters to us right now is tomorrow, Fulham, and the FA Cup.
Then, we’ll take a pause to evaluate and observe. We have specific goals and plans in case something happens.
In addition, we have no idea how the squad will appear in two weeks, so you need to be ready for anything at all times. However, the market is extremely unpredictable and very tricky, so you need to be ready for anything. We’ll aim to make the best decisions and be ready.”
