Maxi Oyedele, an academy product, has confirmed his permanent departure from Manchester United to join Legia Warsaw in Poland.

Oyedele, 19, has made 41 appearances for the Red Devils at the Under-18 level, recording five goals and one assist. He has also made 23 appearances for the Under-23 squad.

The midfielder helped Man United get ready for the 2024–25 season, but the team has since stated that he has left to pursue new opportunities.

A statement on Legia Warsaw’s official website stated, “Maxi Oyedele has completed a permanent move from Manchester United.”

Oyedele is “very excited” about moving to Legia.
He is quoted by Sportowe Fakty as saying, “I feel like I was supposed to join Legia for a long time, so I’m glad this transfer has come to fruition.” “I’m thrilled to be playing on this pitch.

“Obviously, I know what a fantastic club Legia is. I want to be a member of this team and help the club win the championship. It’s a great opportunity for me to make a reputation for myself.

The coach and I had a conversation when I first arrived. He gave me a comprehensive and in-depth plan (of how they will use me).

Oyedele might make his league debut on Sunday against Slask Wroclaw, as he plays for his new team.
