‘Germany isn’t the best of places’ – Harry Kane is regretting his move to Bayern Munich, claims Tottenham legend Paul Gascoigne as he explains big-money transfer England captain should’ve made instead

Paul Gascoigne, a former player for Tottenham, opines that Harry Kane is experiencing remorse about his decision to transfer to Bayern Munich. Gascoigne also discloses the specific club that Kane should have opted for instead.
Kane has not yet had a victory in terms of winning a trophy during his time at Bayern.
Gascoigne believes the striker made an incorrect decision.
Bayern Munich will start the 2018 Bundesliga season by playing against Wolfsburg.

In the summer of 2023, Kane left Tottenham and joined Bayern Munich after spending 19 years in north London. He moved to Bavaria with the aim of winning trophies. The forward netted a total of 36 goals during his first season and was awarded the Golden Boot, recognising him as the highest scorer in Europe. Nevertheless, Bayern Munich was unable to secure a championship title for the first time since 2012, resulting in Harry Kane once again being left without any trophies despite his impressive goal-scoring achievements.
Kane experienced further anguish during the summer as England’s aspirations of triumphing in Euro 2024 were thwarted in the final by Spain. The Bayern forward has subsequently acknowledged that his primary objective is to secure championships as he readies himself for another Bundesliga campaign. However, Gascoigne opines that Kane is probably already experiencing remorse about his transfer to Bayern and believes that he should have opted for the esteemed Spanish club, Real Madrid, instead.
He expressed to GOAL: “I am perplexed as to why he chose to go there instead of Real Madrid.” When you visit Madrid, it’s not just about engaging in recreational activities and practicing sports. You also get to bask in the sunlight and thoroughly relish the experience of being in this exceptional city. Jude Bellingham is present, naturally. In my opinion, he performed below expectations in the Euros, with the exception of scoring one goal. However, I believe that Kane would be experiencing regret, as Germany may not be the most desirable location, in my opinion. When considering the English players who have joined Real Madrid, such as Steve McManaman and Michael Owen, it is natural to question why Bellingham did not choose to go there as well.
Vincent Kompany has assumed leadership of Bayern during the summer and aims to secure several trophies in his inaugural season as manager. The Bavarians began their campaign in an ideal manner, with Kane finding the net in a resounding 4-0 victory against Ulm in the DFB-Pokal. The next event is the inaugural match of the Bundesliga season, taking place at Wolfsburg on Sunday.
