“They are the only two Everton players I’m always scared of seeing on pitch”- Man Utd sweating on experienced duo ahead of Everton clash

United are relying on a seasoned duo to face Everton in a matchup. “They are the only two Everton players I’m always scared of seeing on pitch.”
United will face Everton at Old Trafford on Saturday (12.30 GMT), and the team is worried about Marcus Rashford’s and Jonny Evans’s fitness levels.

Both players were substituted off during United’s 3-1 loss to Manchester City last weekend at the Etihad Stadium. The pressure of winning the Premier League titles got to Erik ten Hag’s team, even though Rashford put them ahead in the first half.
After dropping two games in a row in the league, United is now in sixth place. They are getting ready to host Everton, who have lost their last 10 Premier League games after a 3-1 loss to West Ham United.
After City’s match, ten Hag acknowledged his uncertainty about Rashford and Evans’ availability for Everton’s visit.

“An injury was one of his problems,” said Rashford. The head coach of the Red Devils announced the substitution on the club website, explaining that the player “fought for 70 minutes” before being substituted.

“Jonny Evans is no different. Also, he battled to stay in the game, but we had to take him off after about sixty or sixty-five minutes.

“Plans are in motion to have the players return. “In my opinion, players will be back in the next few weeks, particularly following the international break.

“I hope Marcus Rashford and Jonny Evans aren’t too hurt; we need them for our next match against Everton.”

Ten Hag said, “I don’t know, I can’t tell you,” in response to the question of whether the two are going to sit out for a while.

Although I thought the organization was great, I would have preferred to keep them on until they had to come off. Rashford did an excellent job defending, and Jonny and Rapha Varane were outstanding in the middle of the field.

“We are aware of his quality, and he had another opportunity to score during halftime.”
