Nottingham Forest chairman storms onto the pitch after Darwin Nunez’s 99th minute winner and it was total carnage
Following Liverpool’s wild victory at the City Ground, Nottingham Forest chairman Evangelos Marinakis was present on the field.
Following Liverpool’s thrilling 99th-minute victory at the City Ground, the chairman of Nottingham Forest erupted into wild scenes by rushing onto the pitch.
For long stretches, the Reds appeared to be on the verge of dropping points in the East Midlands.
Darwin Nunez was about to return home from a breathtaking Alexis Mac Allister cross when the fire started to die out.
The away fans went absolutely bonkers because it was one of Liverpool’s most recent Premier League goals.
The last whistle, however, sounded, and mayhem commenced. Referee Paul Tierney sent off assistant coach Steven Reid and several Nottingham Forest staff members for bookings.
A member of Forest’s backroom staff overheard Virgil van Dijk speaking with someone.

The sight of Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis on the field just added to the ridiculousness.
In Greece, Marinakis is a part-owner of Rio Ave and Olympiacos. He was so dissatisfied with the team’s performance in 2018 that he fined them all and sent them on vacation.
Plus, he substituted members of the Under-20 team for them.
He reportedly yelled out, “I and the rest of the fans have tolerated you enough,” according to Greek media. You are scheduled to depart today for your vacation.
As much as you love Olympiacos and their fans, the amateur teams stick to the fundamentals.
You don’t care about the team; you care more about your nice homes and cars.
For you to have it all, I’m willing to pay millions. Because of what you did, I had to fire three coaches. Yet in the end, it seems like you were the one who was at fault.
After the thrilling win, Liverpool pulled ahead of second-place Manchester United by four points; however, if Manchester City beats United in Sunday’s derby, they can close the gap to one point.
Next week, in a massive matchup at Anfield, the two teams will square off.
