Darwin Nunez had cold response to hearing Nottingham Forest fans’ X-rated chant towards him
In response to the chants of Nottingham Forest fans at the City Ground, Liverpool star Darwin Nunez had the ideal response.
The Reds picked up what might be a pivotal three points in their quest for the Premier League championship with a 1-0 victory in Nottingham.
After sitting out Wednesday’s FA Cup fifth round victory over Southampton, Jurgen Klopp’s squad welcomed back a number of players, including Luis Diaz, Ibrahima Konate, and Alexis Mac Allister, who were all eligible to start the match.
Out of 22 shots, Liverpool managed to test Forest’s new goalkeeper Matz Sels with only two finding the target.
Their victor was Nunez, who had been sidelined for the previous three matches due to an injury.
Despite coming off the bench, the Uruguayan had the biggest impact for Klopp’s team at the City Ground. He scored a dramatic winner in the 99th minute to seal the victory.
Once he stepped onto the field, the Forest faithful started yelling, “You’re just a shit Andy Carroll.”
"You're just a shit Andy Carroll" sing the Forest fans. I mean, we all know what happens next, don't we?

The 24-year-old Nunez has had a fantastic Premier League season, scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists.
After beating Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, Manchester City moved into second place, four points behind Liverpool. City still had one game in hand, though.
With a game in hand against Sheffield United on Monday night, Arsenal are able to close the gap to one point and move into third place.
Forest, whose irate chairman Evangelos Marinakis stepped onto the field at fulltime, are currently in 17th place, four points ahead of 18th-place Luton—a team Nuno Espirito Santo’s side has a game in hand on.
