Pochettino aimed to rotate the lineup for the FA Cup game but would likely reinstate some key players who had been rested previously.

The Chelsea Chronicle has predicted the starting lineup to face Brentford.

Projected Chelsea Starting XI
Djordje Petrovic will rejoin the starting lineup for the London derby after being absent from the previous encounter in 2024.

Malo Gusto played in several positions in the backline last week but will go back to his usual position as right-back tomorrow.

Trevoh Chalobah will retain his position in defense due to his exceptional performance, which impressed his boss. Axel Disasi will be on the bench for the first time in a while.

Levi Colwill will be returning to partner with him, creating an all-Cobham back line for the Blues.

Ben Chilwell will lead the team in place of Reece James on the left side. He aims to regain his peak performance level following some challenging recent performances.

Midfielder Moises Caicedo had another impressive performance this week and will retain his position in the starting lineup.

Enzo Fernandez will be his partner, as Pochettino mentioned the lack of available players for rotation.

Conor Gallagher, who has frequently started under the current manager, will return to the starting lineup.

Cole Palmer was unwell over the week but will return to the starting lineup after his award-winning week.

Raheem Sterling will prevent Mykhailo Mudryk from playing, even if Mudryk performed well against Leeds on Wednesday.

Nicolas Jackson will aim to maintain his scoring streak in the FA Cup after scoring in the last match.
