Sir Jim Ratcliffe ‘open’ to return of Man Utd reject in a move that could upset Erik ten Hag

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a stakeholder of Manchester United, is reportedly considering a transfer decision that may disrupt Erik ten Hag.

The 71-year-old founder and controlling owner of INEOS, a major chemical firm, has purchased a 25% share in the club for almost £1.3 billion.

Ratcliffe and his colleagues will take full control of football operations at Old Trafford, which will involve making tough decisions, such as determining the future of Jadon Sancho.

Sancho was excluded from the first-team at United in September last year due to Erik ten Hag’s dissatisfaction with the winger’s performance during training.

The 23-year-old publicly contested Ten Hag’s remarks and, following his refusal to apologize, Sancho was transferred to Borussia Dortmund on a six-month loan.

What lies ahead for Sancho in the future? Ratcliffe is reportedly willing to welcome him back to Old Trafford in the summer, as per The Sun.

Andy Cole, a former United striker, thinks that Sancho might receive an opportunity from Ratcliffe.

“Regardless of his future at Manchester United, the young player is undeniably talented,” Cole stated to Betfred.

Everyone should focus on improving their thinking, not only him.

Currently, things have not gone well for him at Manchester United, but the future remains uncertain.

“I heard Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s recent remarks about Mason Greenwood and how a decision about his future will be made in the summer. It seems they will revisit the situation and reassess it, so I think Sancho will also be part of that discussion.”

Cole inquired if they could effectively resolve the issue despite the challenges faced. What is the optimal solution for Jadon Sancho and Manchester United if they are unable to resolve this issue? That is the perspective they must adopt.

“When examining Manchester United’s history over the past 11 years, how many players have joined the club with high expectations, only for it not to pan out due to the player’s performance?”

Not all responsibility may be attributed only to the athlete or the club.

“The culture at Manchester United is not conducive to success, so it’s important to consider various factors. Many talented players have joined the team in the past, but it hasn’t led to success.” That is incomprehensible to me.
