“I signed him as as low as £0 but now Worth more that Bukayo Saka in transfer market, what a regret decision i make” -With a 6′ 2″ “phenomenon” who is worth more than Saka, the Spurs struck gold.
Last summer, Ange Postecoglou was given the responsibility of spearheading Tottenham Hotspur’s comeback, and the Australian manager is showing a lot of promise thus far in north London.
After Spurs’ dismal Premier League campaign, which ended with an eighth-place finish, chairman Daniel Levy felt that his team was approaching a turning point and that Arsenal, along with regulars Manchester City and Liverpool, were starting to lose ground.
Tottenham has had its share of ups and downs this season, but there’s no denying that the team is moving in the right direction as they make astute transfers and play a captivating brand of football.
Postecoglou has faced many challenges since taking over an organization that had been openly dishonest the previous year and dealing with Harry Kane’s £100 million transfer to Bayern Munich, one of Germany’s biggest teams.
Even though it seemed inevitable that Kane would leave, it would have been nice to have him at N17.
What Spurs’ Harry Kane accomplished
Kane spent a few nomadic years enjoying a string of loan spells with lower-league teams like Leicester City and Leyton Orient. His latent ability left him well regarded but not at the required level for a starring spot. Kane did not immediately fit into the Tottenham first-team.
He did make his Premier League debut back in 2012 when his team lost at St. James’ Park in the closing moments of the season-opening match. He came off the bench in that game.

At the conclusion of the 2013–14 season, Kane made a comeback to leave his mark. In the final six games of the season, he scored three goals and provided two assists to establish himself as a division leader and harbinger of future wealth.
The following Premier League season, Kane would score twenty-one goals, then twenty-eight, twenty-eight, and thirty. The incredible English player took aim, fired, and scored again and again. Once infamously labeled a “one-season wonder,” the record goalscorer for his nation disproved doubters with the devastating consistency of the greatest center-forwards in history. The 30-year-old, who has scored 25 goals and provided eight assists for both Tottenham and Bayern Munich in the Champions League after 39 games, has been hailed for his “world-class” abilities by former Lilywhites manager Antonio Conte.
Anyone worth their salt would look at Kane and conclude that he is a player defined not by a cabinet of metal but by his merit, his world-class shooting ability, and his unwavering leadership and commitment on the pitch. That first elusive slice of silverware still sits tantalizingly out of reach.
Even though the 6′ 2″ star hasn’t won a trophy with Spurs, he has left his mark on the record books with 260 Premier League goals, only surpassed by the record-tying 213, scored by Kane, who also has better consistency from goal to game.
Although he relocated to Germany to lead Bayern, he remains a legendary goal scorer for Tottenham and among the best to have played in England.
Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich performance
To be fair, even though Bayern Munich isn’t exactly having the best season, Kane hasn’t exactly had a hard time adjusting, as evidenced by his 31 goals and 8 assists for teammates in 31 appearances across all competitions.
The “phenomenon,” as Bayern sports director Christoph Freund put it, has amassed 27 goals and five assists in just 23 games in the German Bundesliga, according to Sofascore. To go along with this incredible success rate, he also creates nine big chances and wins 3.3 duels per game.
That title belongs to Kane, who is without a doubt the biggest star in his nation even though he may be financially behind Bellingham.
With one year remaining on his contract, a sizable payout headed toward north London, and a career of unwavering servitude that gave him the keys to unlock his own path, Tottenham can’t exactly regret the day he left for Germany, but it’s still a hard pill to swallow.
Kane didn’t completely shut the door; a future release of his charming attire is still possible. However, consider the success Postecoglou would have right now if he were to lead the team toward an exciting future as the record goalscorer for both Tottenham and England men.
Kane’s teammate is likely the most crucial player for Mikel Arteta’s Gunners as they pursue the championship. He has combined his playmaking prowess and defensive tenacity to complement his goal-scoring prowess, averaging 2.5 crucial passes, 2.0 tackles, and 6.0 successful duels per league game.
Saka is not yet his country’s best player, but at 22 years old, he has experience on his side and will surely go down as one of English football’s modern greats, barring any unforeseen outside obstacles.
Kane is fundamentally one of the best center-forwards in the game. He is a lethal marksman, and Saka cannot surpass him on the list of football’s most valuable players despite his being over thirty.
To be fair, the Arsenal phenomenon is one of the best players in the Premier League and gets better every month. In his last seven league games, he has scored eight goals and provided one assist.
It’s interesting to note that Kane is not the most valuable English player available, but he also won’t challenge Jude Bellingham, who is a phenomenal player whose dominance belies his age at just 20 years old, for that title. Bellingham joined Real Madrid last summer.
Kane is still one of the most sought-after players in the game because of his inventiveness, skill at link-up and build-up play, dexterity in possession, and control in attacking sequences—all of which come close to matching his elite-level striking ability.
Though he has reportedly moved to a lower league, Kane is still regarded as one of the best in the world and is the main player for Bayern Munich, one of the best teams in Europe.
His status as one of the best football players on the continent is reflected in his market value.
Market value of Harry Kane in 2024: Bayern Munich paid approximately £100 million to acquire Kane. Although the Football Transfers valuation model places his true transfer value at £93 million, Kane is regarded as the fourth most valuable player in the world, ahead of fellow countryman Bukayo Saka, who is ranked fifth.
