Regarding Arsenal’s financial status, Arteta recently said, “We are really short of money.” It’s an extremely volatile and sensitive market that shifts swiftly. Due in large part to the injuries he has sustained this season, de Ligt is currently Bayern’s third-choice central defender behind Dayot Upamecano and Minjae Kim. Despite these obstacles, Arsenal is still interested in signing him.

After joining Bayern from Juventus Turin, de Ligt played a crucial role in the defense last season, especially under former manager Julian Nagelsmann.
