Jude Bellingham expressed frustration at Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo for their lack of effort in defensive tracking during Real Madrid’s match against Mallorca.

Real Madrid began their title defence away from home.
They were unexpectedly tied in their away match.
The superstar forwards have not yet performed effectively as a group.

What occurred?

Real Madrid’s attempt to defend their La Liga crown began with a poor start on the opening weekend, as they were unexpectedly held to a draw away from home. Rodrygo, a Brazilian attacker, scored a goal within 13 minutes to give his team the lead. However, Carlo Ancelotti’s team equalized after halftime.

Bellingham’s statement
During half-time, the highly talented players of Madrid became visibly frustrated. England’s national team player, Bellingham, was captured on tape imploring his teammates to improve their finishing skills. The midfield runners were exhausted from constantly having to chase back into their own half. Speaking to Mbappe, Vini Jr, and Rodrygo collectively, he humorously remarked, “The three of you must complete the task, as the act of continuously running is exceedingly exhausting.”

Mbappe retorted, “That’s precisely my point, you must conclude with something!”

The broader perspective
Despite Mbappe’s status as a World Cup-winner, his performance for his La Liga debut was unimpressive as he failed to score or make an impact. Ancelotti has acknowledged that he is currently strategising on how to optimise the performance of a formidable offensive lineup.

What are the future plans for Real Madrid?
Bellingham, who scored 23 goals for Los Blancos in the previous season, will be anticipated to contribute directly to the team’s final outcome this season. Real Madrid will want to produce a more cohesive performance when they play against Real Valladolid at Santiago Bernabeu next Sunday.
