Gary Neville expresses concern over two Man United transfer choices.
Gary Neville believes that keeping Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane at Manchester United would be a mistake.
MEN Sport is aware ofVarane believes he is being forced out of Old Trafford, as United chose not to activate the one-year extension on his contract, leaving the Frenchman free to discuss a pre-contract arrangement with foreign teams. The former Real Madrid defender, who isn’t sure if he wants to stay with the Reds, will now have to negotiate a new contract on lesser terms.
Neville posted on social media platform X, saying: “I’m concerned if United plans to extend Lindelof and Varane (on shorter terms). We have to make every effort to start over. Although neither of these two is a particularly poor player, the club has to make it clear to everyone, both inside and outside the building, that the levels of the past few years will not be tolerated.”
