According to reports, Manchester United is getting ready to trade Aaron Wan-Bisakka for Michael Olise, the sensation at Crystal Palace, in exchange for cash and players.

Last weekend, the Eagles suffered a new setback when their lucky player hobbled off at full time to tend to his hamstring injury. Olise could now miss the remainder of January after scoring twice in the match to decisively defeat Brentford.

After recovering from a prior hamstring injury, the 22-year-old’s stock has increased even though he plays for a team that is six points above the relegation zone. While raising concerns about his future, Palace has managed to stay above the bottom three thanks to five goals in nine games from wide.

Although Eagles manager Roy Hodgson faced criticism for starting him against Brentford, he maintained that the setback had nothing to do with the issue that had kept Olise out of action for the first three months of the season. “This has nothing to do with the (first injury),” he stated following the game. It is located far more lower on his hamstring. It’s not even close to where he hurt himself.

It’s not happening again. Exercise caution when interacting with players. These days, you have to exercise increasing caution. Because of VAR and longer matches, there are longer stretches of inactivity in the game.

We just finished a stretch of a few weeks in which we played three matches a week, so you are aware of all of those things. However, the truth is that managing a team cannot be done in a completely scientific manner.

Although Olise and United have been linked in recent weeks, his injury history is a cause for concern. Jadon Sancho is still persona non grata at Old Trafford, and Antony has not been able to live up to his £85 million price tag.

According to The Daily Star, if United signs Olise, they will include a bid for Wan-Bissaka, a former player for Palace. The right-back, a lifelong Red Devils supporter, was signed for £50 million in 2019, but his development has fallen short of expectations. The club extended his contract until the summer of 2025, so at the conclusion of this season, he will not be free to leave.

According to the report, United would prefer to forego paying Olise’s high contract price of £60 million and pursue a swap deal instead. The London-born winger, who plays for France’s Under-21 team, signed a contract extension at Selhurst Park in August to ward off Chelsea’s interest.
