The Premier League match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest is set to take place later today. Here, a few of our writers vote for the starting eleven that Jürgen Klopp should start.

This weekend, three teams vying for the Premier League crown will be in action. On Saturday, Liverpool will face off against Nottingham Forest. On Sunday, Manchester City will take on Manchester United, while Arsenal won’t play again until Monday night against Sheffield United.

Assuming the other two title contenders win their matches, Jürgen Klopp’s squad must proceed accordingly. Even if Liverpool lost ground, they wouldn’t be in a good enough mood to celebrate until they won at the City Ground.

Now that Darwin Núñez and Dominik Szoboszlai have returned to training this week, Liverpool has received the perfect boost before the match. However, Mohamed Salah will sit out this week before making an appearance next week. For the massive match against Manchester City, he will likely make a comeback.

Would Núñez and Szoboszlai be able to return to the starting lineup immediately, and is Bobby Clark being given a Premier League start? Some of the writers here at Liverpool.com have chosen these squads. This weekend, Nottingham Forest will enter the game four points clear of the relegation zone, but they will still be under pressure to avoid a possible points deduction. That could be the saving grace for Luton Town.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Núñez are both being represented by Matt Addison.
Núñez and Szoboszlai should start if they are healthy enough, in my opinion. So that they can get some playing time here before next Sunday’s match against Manchester City, the two shouldn’t play in the Europa League this coming Wednesday.

In other places, the side chooses itself. Ibrahima Konaté and Virgil van Dijk will start for the first team, and Conor Bradley will have to go for a second time. They each played half of the match in midweek. When it comes to left back, Andy Robertson is a lock.

Harvey Elliott will be sitting this one out because he has been heavily involved in recent football and because I would like to see him play in the Europa League. Alexis Mac Allister can potentially join Szoboszlai in the center, allowing Wataru Endō to maintain his position.

Cody Gakpo, Luis Díaz, and Núñez make up my forward line. This is the third request to start a Premier League match, following Jayden Danns and Lewis Koumas’s performances against Southampton. The bench can be made by them.

As for my starting eleven, I have Kelleher, Bradley, Konaté, Van Dijk, Robertson, Endō, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Núñez, and Díaz.

Liverpool is expected to win by a score of 2-0.

Is Dominik Szoboszlai going to look dapper when he returns?

James Findlater – Wataru Endō is back, and Bobby Clark is making his debut.
At last, Liverpool may be getting some key players back. It is possible that Jürgen Klopp is looking forward to soon having to make some difficult decisions! Even though it’s far from certain that any of the fourteen players who were unable to travel to Forest for the Southampton match will actually show up, there are encouraging indications that a couple of them will. They may even be prepared to begin, I hope.

Andy Robertson has been sick all week, so I don’t think it’s a good idea to put him in danger right away. Along with Conor Bradley, Ibrahima Konaté, and Virgil van Dijk, Kostas Tsimikas can maintain his position as a left back.

We still don’t know much about midfield. Bobby Clark has proven that he is prepared for his chance, and it is yet to be determined how prepared Wataru Endō and Dominik Szoboszlai will be. You would think that one of them might be given the starting nod.

If Darwin Núñez isn’t fully prepared from the beginning, then circumstances dictate, even though Harvey Elliott likely needs a break. The Uruguayan could potentially come off the bench, which would be a great surprise.

This is my starting eleven: Kelleher, Bradley, Konaté, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Endō, Mac Allister, Clark; Elliott, Gakpo, Díaz.

Liverpool is expected to win by a score of 2-0.

Something to keep an eye on: Núñez making an immediate impact after coming off the bench.
