James Pearce claims that Liverpool may send Fabio Carvalho out on loan once more after calling him back from his January loan period.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is on a season-long loan from Bundesliga team RB Leipzig, but he has had difficulty getting regular playing time in Germany.
The Reds want to end the contract and bring him back to Anfield because they are not happy with how they have handled him.
He is the only “high-profile” Liverpool player who could be moving in January, according to the journalist for The Athletic. Liverpool is likely to send him out on loan once more because they want to make sure he develops.
Pep Lijnders, the assistant manager of Liverpool, recently stated: “He needs to find minutes.” We’ll work together to get him the best outcome.
It makes logic
Under Klopp, Carvalho had a difficult season last season. Despite acknowledging that Carvalho is an incredible player, the German manager believes the attacker is not yet ready to start every game for the Reds first team.
The relocation of the loan to Germany wasn’t successful. In the first half of the season, he has only made three starts across all competitions, so it is completely pointless to waste his time.
Could he worm his way back into Klopp’s schemes? It doesn’t seem possible. The Reds do have enough depth up front, even though they are competing for multiple trophies. It will be extremely difficult for Klopp to get him playing time right now.
Whether Liverpool enters the transfer window to sign one or two players will be interesting to watch. After Joel Matip’s injury, the Reds’ top priority is to sign a new central defender, though they may also consider purchasing a new left-back.
