Jadon Sancho has officially agreed to leave Manchester United on a loan to start a new chapter at Borussia Dortmund.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, and Jadon Sancho, the gifted but annoying winger, had a falling out at first and couldn’t work things out.

Sancho’s one word would have been all that was needed. I apologize.

Coaches and teammates begged him to apologize to his manager for his social media outburst in early September, but Sancho’s position remained unwavering until late December.

Coaches and teammates begged him to apologize to his manager for his social media outburst in early September, but Sancho's position remained unwavering until late December.

To Dortmund, Jadon Sancho has expressed regret.
Jadon Sancho appears to be capable of saying “sorry.” He simply declined to.

Sancho met players and staff at Borussia Dortmund behind the scenes, as seen in a video posted to the German team’s Instagram page.

During one exchange, employees teased Sancho for requiring them to undergo “the latest medical check ever.”

This was due to Dortmund’s desire to expedite the medicals so that they could announce the deal on Thursday, as Sancho arrived in Germany at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

In response, Sancho expressed regret for being late. Everyone at Manchester United will see the irony.

He answered, “I’m sorry, guys. I’m sorry.”

Erik ten Hag will not accept it.
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, is probably past interested in what Jadon Sancho has to say, but even he could be taken aback if the winger were to say “sorry.”

All that was expected of the 23-year-old was this. He undoubtedly would have contributed if he had been playing for the team during the previous few months. Winger creativity has been a need for Rasmus Hojlund.

Although United will be sorry that the situation got to this point, they did not anticipate Sancho’s immature response, which came to pass over the past few months.

With his transfer value at an all-time low, he is now back at Dortmund trying to turn his career around in the hopes that United will be able to fetch a price that they can sell him for without too much embarrassment.
