“He deserves all the credits and praises”— Declan Rice extols the virtues of an Arsenal player, whose immense work ethic is lauded by the commenter.
As a result of Nicolas Jover’s outstanding work with Arsenal, set-piece coach Declan Rice has lavished praise on him.
The likes of Mikel Arteta and the other Arsenal players are frequently given the recognition they merit for their efforts. Unlike Jover, who has been getting a lot of love from fans this season, the backroom staff rarely gets any praise. Now Rice has spoken.

In terms of set pieces, Arsenal has dominated the Premier League.
No team in England’s top division has scored more goals from dead-ball scenarios than Arsenal. Now that Nicolas Jover is on the team, they pose a serious threat in set pieces.

No team in England’s top division has scored more goals from dead-ball scenarios than Arsenal. Now that Nicolas Jover is on the team, they pose a serious threat in set pieces.
Since the summer of 2021, the 42-year-old has been a part of Arsenal. His contributions behind the scenes have been crucial to the Gunners’ progress, and his efforts have been acknowledged since the beginning of last season.
Jover has now been discussed by Declan Rice. The midfielder has made the unpopular claim that the Arsenal set-piece coach is secretly incredibly dedicated to his job.
What an incredible worker he is behind the scenes, the Englishman told iNews. Everyone is focusing on him celebrating set pieces from the sidelines.
On the other hand, he’s never seen a day without his laptop, and he’s relentless in his pursuit of excellence, never once skipping a beat when it comes to pulling guys aside for one-on-one meetings to give them constructive criticism. Because of that, I don’t think we’re going to become boring.
If we need criticism, we’re always open to hearing it and working to improve. Working with him has been a pleasure, and I appreciate how receptive he is to new ideas.
The Gunners may have scored a couple goals from set pieces in the past, but they certainly weren’t as dangerous as they are right now. One of the season’s stories, it is.
Set pieces have been a source of 34 goals for Arsenal since the beginning of the previous season. So far this season, 19 of those have arrived. Speaking of the Premier League, no team has more than that (TalkSPORT).
Assuming they can maintain their recent success from set pieces, Arsenal shouldn’t have too much trouble scoring goals, despite the lack of a prolific goalscorer up front.
