Arsenal
FINALLY: In a significant development, Kylian Mbappe’s transfer to Arsenal and Chelsea was boosted.
The chances of Chelsea and Arsenal landing Kylian Mbappe, the star player for Paris Saint-Germain, have both increased. During the summer transfer window, the French international rejected new contract offers from the Ligue 1 champions, making no secret of his desire to leave the Parc des Princes.
His next club has been the subject of much speculation as a result, with Real Madrid emerging as the front-runner to sign the prolific attacker. But there have also been rumors of a Premier League transfer.
Though transfer guru Florian Plettenberg has since revealed that the Reds are not pursuing the 24-year-old, Mbappe has been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool. “I’ve been informed that Liverpool isn’t pursuing Kylian #Mbappé,” Plettenberg wrote on X.
There is currently no problem with his transfer in the summer of 2024. #LFC.
“#PSG, still very at ease because they are contractually financially protected for his potential departure. Whether it’s next year or the year after, Real Madrid remains the most likely destination for him.
The Bernabeu is, of course, the most likely destination for Mbappe at this point, but the fact that Chelsea and Arsenal will no longer have to worry about signing the Frenchman gives them both motivation. In 2017, the Gunners made an attempt to sign the gifted wonderkid who was playing for Monaco; however, the player chose to sign with PSG.
