Breaking news: three incredible liverpool players just escape death due to the recent..
Due to Diogo Jota’s injury, Liverpool’s forward options are severely limited, and manager Jurgen Klopp will be eager to get him back in the lineup before Mohamed Salah leaves at the start of the season.
Jota sustained one of the two injuries sustained in the draw against Man City, while Alisson also required medical attention for a hamstring injury, joining the No. 20 in the locker room.
Jota’s injury is “a bit more severe,” so while it is hoped that the No. 1 will be back for Man United’s visit on December 17, he will be sidelined for a “little bigger longer.”
Given that Alisson’s prognosis is only expected to last three weeks, it is reasonable to assume that Jota will require four weeks or longer to heal before gradually reintegrating into the team, most likely in 2024.
Due to Jota’s injury, Klopp only has four senior forward options, but since Salah is scheduled to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations in early January, it is imperative that Jota recovers as soon as possible.
Given his history of hamstring injuries, they won’t rush Jota back, but this illustrates the possibility of having fewer senior options available at the beginning of the season.
