Man Utd told £43m offer would be accepted – Report

Takefusa Kubo, a Japanese international, is being pursued by Manchester United to take Antony’s place at Old Trafford as the Samba winger.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Man Utd have scouted the Asian playmaker extensively and want to replace Antony.

According to the British news outlet, Real Sociedad would consider a £43 million price for their valuable asset.

The 22-year-old, who was never a player for Real Madrid, led Sociedad to 9 goals and 7 assists in the La Liga last season.

Regarding the current campaign, Kubo has started 14 league games thus far and has a direct hand in 9 goals (6 goals and 3 assists).

Conversely, Antony has been a complete failure for Manchester United. He hasn’t helped the Red Devils score a goal or provide an assist this season.

The South American winger was chosen for signing by the Dutch manager last year because he was an important part of Erik ten Hag’s Ajax team that won the Eredivisie.

But now that plenty of chances have passed, it’s obvious that luring Antony was a mistake, and he needs to be offloaded.

Do you think Man Utd should accept a £43 million fee to sign Kubo?
