Breaking New: Eden Hazard share the best talented Chelsea youngster that never made it
Breaking News: Eden Hazard reveals the most gifted Chelsea kid who was never successful.
Surprisingly, Eden Hazard said that Gael Kakuta, the Chelsea flop, is the most talented player he has ever played with.
After spending eight years in West London on loan at teams like Vitesse, Lazio, and Rayo Vallecano, Kakuta moved to Stamford Bridge from Lens, a French team, in 2007.
The Frenchman, who made just 16 appearances across all competitions and failed to score, left Chelsea in 2015 to sign with Sevilla, a Spanish team.
When asked which of his former teammates had the greatest talent, Hazard said, “When you say Kevin De Bruyne, he’s top on the list, when you say Frank Lampard, he’s top of the list, and Juan Mata, in my opinion, was top of the list,” in an interview with The Obi One Podcast. John is familiar with the player, and I will only give you one name.
“Gael Kakuta was the only player I was thinking, ‘Wow,’ but I stopped playing for that young team you know in France.” You inquired about my talent. Kakuta is by far the best. Ability. I mean, aptitude. Whoa.
He first became aware of Hazard’s and Kakuta’s talent when they both emerged from Lille and Lens’s youth systems at roughly the same time.
You know, I used to play in Lille and he was playing in Lens, so I played against him a lot. It’s a derby, after all, and this is the north of France,” Hazard continued.
Thus, me being who I am. We used to win all of our games—five, six, and zero. I was always the best player. And then we are losing the game each time we play against him. The best player is him.

“The best player is him. This isn’t how things usually work. It’s easy to say now, but I believe Chelsea was taken a little too soon. You know, when he moved to Chelsea from France, he was sixteen. And that’s a big step at sixteen.
