BREAKING: latest on Kylian Mbappe’s transfer: contract update, Chelsea and Arsenal boost, Liverpool twist
Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and other teams are among those who have been linked to Kylian Mbappe leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
Kylian Mbappe, the star player for Paris Saint-Germain, has an uncertain future at the Parc des Princes because his contract is about to expire in less than six months. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi stated in the summer that the French forward would either be sold or have a fortnight to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 winners.
The 24-year-old wasn’t let go, but he also didn’t sign an extension. As things stand, unless Mbappe decides to sign a contract right away, foreign clubs will be able to start pre-contract negotiations with him in the summer starting in January.
In the event that the France international declines to sign a new contract, PSG will have to choose between taking a chance on losing him for nothing at the end of the campaign or cutting losses and making money during the next January transfer window. Having said that, football.london has looked at the most recent information regarding Mbappe and a possible transfer to the Premier League, as both Chelsea and Arsenal have been mentioned recently.
Liverpool slant
The likelihood that Arsenal and Chelsea will be able to sign Kylian Mbappe, the star player for Paris Saint-Germain, has increased. During the summer transfer window, the French international made no secret of his desire to leave the Parc des Princes, rejecting new contract offers from the Ligue 1 winners.
This has sparked a lot of conjecture about where he will play next, with Real Madrid being the front-runners to sign the highly productive attacker. But a transfer to the Premier League has also been suggested.
Mbappe has been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, but transfer guru Florian Plettenberg has since revealed that the Reds are not interested in the 24-year-old. Plettenberg wrote on X, stating: “I’ve been informed that Liverpool isn’t pursuing Kylian #Mbappé.”
