BREAKING :Compared to Man City, Liverpool, and Tottenham, Arsenal’s Christmas schedule
Just one point separates the reigning champions Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League standings as of December 1. In terms of sharpness and injury concerns, the hectic schedule of games over Christmas is expected to cause havoc for Tottenham, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.
With just 10 goals allowed in 13 games this season, the Gunners have the best defensive record in the Premier League. After defeating Lens 6-0 on Wednesday, Mikel Arteta’s team advanced to the Champions League last-16. As a result, Arsenal may use a rotated squad when playing PSV later this month in their final Group B match.
With eight games scheduled for Arsenal in December, Arteta will need to exercise good squad management throughout the holiday season. Football.london has examined Arsenal’s forthcoming schedule and contrasted it with the schedules of the other teams vying for the title, as stated above.
Premier League – Wolves (H) – December 2
The Gunners host Wolves, who are presently ranked 14th in the league, to kick off December. The north Londoners have beaten Wolves both at home and away in the last two Premier League seasons, enjoying some great results against them recently.
Premier League – December 5 Luton Town (A)
Despite the Hatters’ difficulties this season rising up the Premier League standings, Rob Edwards has shown that opponents shouldn’t undervalue his team. Luton’s performance against Crystal Palace this past weekend marked their first home victory of the season, and they gave Liverpool a serious run for their money at Kenilworth Road. They’ll be eager to surprise Arsenal as well.

Premier League – December 9 – Aston Villa (A)
Unai Emery is going to make no mistake about inflicting pain on his former team. This season, Villa has proven to be a formidable opponent at Villa Park, so Arsenal should expect a challenging match.
Champions League – December 12 – PSV (A)
Mikel Arteta has the opportunity to rest several important players and rotate his starting lineup for Arsenal’s final Group B match. As Group B winners, the Gunners advance to the round of 16.
December 17, Premier League – Brighton (H)
Another challenging match for the Gunners. Brighton, despite a few setbacks this season, is still a formidable team that has the potential to contend for a Champions League qualifying spot under Roberto De Zerbi.
