Bad News for Arsenal; “No way on this planet, Arsenal dream is already shattered”-Darren Bent can’t believe what he’s hearing about Mikel Arteta at Arsenal now
“No way on this planet, Arsenal dream is already shattered” is how Darren Bent describes the bad news he’s been hearing about Mikel Arteta at Arsenal right now.
Mikel Arteta quickly put an end to any rumors that Barcelona was interested in hiring him as their next coach, even though this was mentioned not too long ago.
When talkSPORT host Andy Goldstein, a Manchester United supporter, hinted that Mikel Arteta would head to the Old Trafford dugout, Darren Bent was eager to follow through on that as well.
The former Tottenham striker, who grew up loving Arsenal, told talkSPORT on February 27, 2019, at 5:55 p.m., that there is “no way on this planet” that such a move would occur.
Without a doubt, the two biggest clubs in England are Manchester United and Arsenal. Even supporters of the north London team would concede and accept that their rivals are bigger due to their accomplishments.
However, that is all the past; the present is what matters. The pudding has the proof. Man United is fighting to finish in the top four, while Arsenal is close to the top.
Darren Bent expressed a desire to elucidate Rio Ferdinand’s initial remarks regarding Mikel Arteta.
Is Mikel Arteta going to switch from Arsenal to Manchester United?
Bent remarked, “I’m glad they’re all laughing at that.” “I don’t understand why you are laughing at that,” Andy Goldstein retorted.
“There is no way on this planet, as we sit right now, that Arteta is leaving, with what he has built at Arsenal,” the former England striker continued. We are now posing new challenges.
Goldstein cut him off, asking, “What has he built? Failing? You challenged last season, didn’t you?
Bent then stated unequivocally, “He is not going to Manchester United.” What are you guys doing if we’re going backwards?
AG: “I don’t think you realize how dominant Manchester United is as a team.”
DB: “I promise never to argue with you about how big Manchester United is. However, occasionally people confuse the Manchester United of the past with the Manchester United of the present. So you want Arteta, who is fighting for the league, which they still are, to go to a team that finished last in your Champions League group and join a different team?
AG: “You don’t get what I’m saying. He is not going to the least popular club in the group. Arsenal will never be the biggest club in the world, but you are going to one of them. They are not going to be Man United.
Manchester United or Arsenal will win the Premier League title first?
Arsenal seems like the obvious choice in this situation because they are so close by and the main focus is on surviving the upcoming months.
However, the onus will return to Arteta if the Gunners fail once more and shoot themselves in the foot.
