Man United wants to replace Antony with Michael Olise.

Reputable reporter Fabrizio Romano claims that Manchester United may take a look at Michael Olise, a winger for Crystal Palace, to replace Antony this summer.

Although he is in his second season with the Red Devils, Antony has not yet made an impact. He hasn’t yet opened his Premier League account, but he has one goal and one assist in the FA Cup.

This has fueled rumors that he might leave in the summer, and in an interview with Caught Offside, Romano hinted that Antony might leave if Man United receives a significant offer for him.

Romano continued by saying that while United values Olise as a player, a transfer may be contingent on the new sporting director, finances, and transfer policy. Last year, Olise piqued the interest of Chelsea.

“I think Man United will be quite open,” he stated. We could see this as an option for Antony if they receive a significant proposal. However, we’ll have to wait and see what the player desires as well as the circumstances come summertime.

“I believe Michael Olise is going to face intense competition. Manchester United values the player, but we won’t know the budget or strategy until their new director takes over.

“But they definitely like this player,” Last summer, Chelsea was also considering signing him; however, because of the release clause, this will be an interesting one for both teams.

Despite having injury problems this season, Palace’s quality winger Olise has continued to shine with his performances. In just 11 league games, the French youth international has six goals and three assists. He is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury, but he should be back for the last few weeks of the competition.

The former Reading player would be a great addition to take Antony’s place, as the latter has struggled to adjust to life in the English premier league. The Brazilian is inferior to Olise in every way. He enjoys dribbling past opponents, prevails in many duels, and has the ability to score goals from the few opportunities that Palace creates.

He possesses the skills necessary to rise to the top among right-handed wingers. Without a doubt, United will keep an eye on him when he returns. The Red Devils and other teams would be more inclined to approach the £43 million attacker this summer if he could finish the season injury-free.
