Sadio Mané, a former Liverpool player, has tied the knot with Aisha Tamba, his longtime girlfriend.

The couple has not disclosed the precise length of their relationship. The private wedding was held in Dakar, the capital of Senegal, in the Keur Massar neighborhood, just one week before the Africa Cup of Nations started.

In addition to winning Aisha’s heart, Mané—who is currently with Al-Nassr—reportedly paid for her education at a private college in Mbao, according to Pulse Sports. The footballer’s kindness eased Aisha’s academic journey there as a senior student.

@Magvision_Evens_Officiel posted photos from their small wedding ceremony on Instagram. The pictures show the newlyweds cuddling and kissing, with Mané placing his lips on Aisha’s hands. In one particular picture, the couple is seated under a rose arrangement, and the words “Mrs. Mané” are written in gold on the wall.

Aisha was born in Casamance, a town close to Mané’s birthplace, and she shares her husband’s preference for seclusion in addition to his Islamic faith. Mané kept his love life private for the entirety of his six-year contract with Liverpool, which ended in 2022.

According to the Tribune, Mané said in 2022, “I’ve seen a lot of girls asking me why I am not married, but sorry you might be wasting your time.” When asked about his ideal life partner. My future wife will not use social media. I’d like to wed a devout Christian who practices effective prayer. Everybody chooses their kind of love in a unique way.

Mané, who briefly played for Bayern Munich after leaving Liverpool, is currently a member of Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian team that also includes Cristiano Ronaldo. After a difficult season with Bayern Munich in Germany, he signed with the wealthy Saudi team.

As Mané prepares for the Africa Cup of Nations, Aisha, his recent wife, is apparently determined to finish her education. On January 15, the 31-year-old will play his first game as a married man against Gambia.
