“I WILL BE BACK” Dominik Szoboszlai Finally Reveals When He Will Be Back From Injury after things ‘didn’t go as planned’ at Liverpool
The year 2024 did not begin as Dominik Szoboszlai had hoped. Liverpool’s injury against Newcastle in the first game of the year coincided with a bad time for them too.
Jurgen Klopp already lacks a number of important players, and Szoboszlai’s absence only made his injury problems worse.
It’s not all bad news, though. The Hungarian may return sooner rather than later as his muscle injury is not believed to be serious.
Szoboszlai gave reporters an update on his injury before accepting the Hungarian Male Sports Person of the Year award for 2023 last night while back in his native country.
Update on Szoboszlai’s injury
Szoboszlai stated in an interview with M4 Sport that although his first game against Newcastle did not go as planned, he will be back on the field very soon.
“I’m recovering. It didn’t go as planned for me in the first game of the year, but I will return soon.
That’s as good of a about as supporters of Liverpool could ask for. For Jurgen Klopp, having Szoboszlai back in the lineup will be very beneficial.
Although Szoboszlai’s comments suggest that he might be in line to play against Bournemouth in Liverpool’s next Premier League match, Fulham midweek may come too soon.
