Roy Keane opens up on his red cards

“My idol, the legend. The guy that I always looked up to when I was young and that I tried to recreate on the streets because I played a lot of football.”

Having enjoyed plenty of battles with Messi over the years, Virgil couldn’t ignore the World Cup winner, despite their often tightly-contested tussles when facing off in the Champions League in recent years.

“On the right I’ll put Lionel Messi. Arguably one of the best players of all time, I don’t need to say too much to be fair,” said van Dijk.

Finally, Virgil selected Brazil legend Ronaldo to lead the line, insisting not many could come close to beating his five-a-side picks.

“I think we would beat all of the five-a-side teams that have been picked. Hopefully we can conquer the world!”

Becker paid a record £66.8 million to join Liverpool from Roma back in 2018. Since then, the Brazilian has been a constant presence for Klopp’s squad and is regarded as one of the greatest in the world.

Van Dijk went on, “I’m going to put myself because I would love to play in this team.”

Soon after, the former Celtics player gave a direct explanation of his choice for the left side of the team with just three spots remaining to be filled.

“I’ll move Ronaldinho to the left,” he continued.

Opening up about his red cards, Roy Keane

“The legend, my hero. The guy who, because I was a big football player, I tried to emulate on the streets and who I always looked up to.”

Despite their frequently fierce fights when they faced off in the Champions League recently, Virgil couldn’t ignore the World Cup winner because he had enjoyed many battles with Messi over the years.

“I will position Lionel Messi on the right. To be fair, I don’t think I need to say too much about one of the greatest players of all time, van Dijk said.

At last, Virgil chose Ronaldo, a legend of Brazil, to start at the front of the line because he was confident that no one could beat his five-a-side selections.

“I believe we could defeat every team selected for the five-a-side format. I hope we succeed in taking over the globe.”
