“Why depart now during our difficult time?” Zinchenko wept as his £50 million teammate

ready to move from Arsenal to London Rivals this month; I’ve already worked out personal terms with the directors.According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Crystal Palace is reportedly very interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah this month.Nketiah has fluctuated in and out of the Gunners starting lineup this season. Despite this, in 26 games, he has contributed four assists and six goals.

After it was recently revealed that Palace’s attempt to sign the 24-year-old was unsuccessful, Ornstein has now admitted that Palace has a “firm interest” in the player. The reliable journalist claims that Arsenal has not indicated that they would like to sell the Englishman this month, but Palace is expected to make a big offer should he become available.

“Both a midfielder and a striker appear plausible candidates to replace Cheick Doucoure,” he said during a Q&A session with The Athletic. They are very interested in Eddie Nketiah, but Arsenal has not stated that they plan to let him go. In the event that that changes, I expect Palace to work very hard.

It seems unlikely that Nketiah will leave Arsenal in the current situation.

It was expected that Arsenal would purchase a highly regarded striker. Ivan Toney of Brentford, who seems to be the main target, may be too expensive to acquire in the current transfer window.

The Gunners are reportedly unwilling to spend the approximately £80 million that the Bees are seeking. Because of worries about Financial Fair Play, the team may decide not to spend a lot of money this month.

The next few weeks could see a change in the circumstances. If Toney becomes available, Eddie Nketiah, who is valued at £30 million by Transfermarkt, might be moved for a lower transfer fee up front.

Nketiah is not progressing under the existing conditions. This season, he has played alongside Gabriel Jesus, a former member of the club whose abilities manager Mikel Arteta continues to admire.
