Star player for £120 million has joined Tottenham. DONE DEAL, CONTRACT ACCEPTED

Tottenham’s main defensive objectives are known.

Summer priority for Tottenham Hotspur is a Premier League-tested center back, as reported by Ryan Taylor of Daily Express, who provided an update for GIVEMESPORT.

Spurs are searching for more players even though Ange Postecoglou has already added a number of notable players to his revamped team.

Details about the Tottenham Hotspur transfer

Ahead of the upcoming campaign, Tottenham’s camp is humming thanks to Postecoglou, who has brought much-needed energy to Hotspur Way.

James Maddison, a £40 million summer transfer from Leicester City, is Tottenham’s biggest acquisition to date.

Spurs are now £13 million closer to acquiring a professional center back.

After being a part of Leicester’s Championship relegation the previous season, Maddison is now looking to make an impression at Spurs in order to qualify for the European Championships the following summer.

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who joined the team last month for £17 million from Empoli, has also inked a contract with the 2008 League Cup winners.

Manor Solomon, who made an impression while playing for Fulham the previous season, has joined Tottenham on a free transfer after his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk was suspended due to a contentious FIFA regulation that affects players who play for teams in war-torn Ukraine.

Postecoglou wants to bring in even more players, and a central defender is the next item on the former Celtic manager’s shopping list. He has already brought in three new faces.

Journalist Taylor from the Daily Express acknowledged to GIVEMESPORT that Tottenham was looking to add a center back, and that Tosin Adarabioyo was one name that was highly on their shortlist.

Regarding the 25-year-old defender, Taylor stated: “Tosin, the Fulham center-back who was left out of the squad to face Brentford in Philadelphia, is attracting a lot of interest.”

He appears to be a player who fulfills the requirements for homegrown players, is well-liked by Spurs, and has just one year remaining on his contract, so it appears he can leave Fulham this summer. Therefore, I believe that Micky van de Ven and Adarabioyo will be given priority.

Taylor hinted that the Spurs are looking to add to their defensive options this summer by pursuing a low-cost deal for Adarabioyo.

The Evening Standard claims that the north Londoners plan to sign the former Manchester City player for a lower price in an effort to take advantage of Adarabioyo’s desire to leave Fulham.

Although the Manchester-born defender’s price is unknown, Transfermarkt values Adarabioyo at £13 million, suggesting Spurs won’t have to spend a fortune to acquire him this summer.

At the end of the season, Adarabioyo’s contract expires, and he has not indicated that he plans to stay at Craven Cottage. His weekly salary is estimated to be £40,000.
