Sir Jimcliffe, the owner of Manchester United, issues a final warning to Ten Hag before he decides to resign: “I can’t pay a huge amount for that player signing and you keep benching him.” Ten Hag must stop benching the £70 million player or he may soon lose his job.

Before the summer transfer window closes, senior Manchester United figures are allegedly anticipating Chelsea to make an approach for Jadon Sancho. Sancho’s exclusion from the matchday squad that defeated Fulham last week created new doubts about his future with the team.

Manager Erik ten Hag stated that although the wide player was battling an ear infection prior to the game, he would have been fit enough to participate.

Starting on the wings were Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford, while Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to help fellow replacement Joshua Zirkzee score the winning goal in the 87th minute.

Despite their reconciliation following their fallout from the previous season, Sancho and Ten Hag are still eager to part ways with the 24-year-old. The Athletic reports that the Red Devils have placed a £40 million price tag on Sancho, having spending nearly twice as much on him three years prior.

However, his pay seems to be a source of difficulty. One of the highest paid players at Old Trafford is Sancho, and while Paris Saint-Germain and other teams have reportedly expressed interest in signing the former Borussia Dortmund player during the current transfer window, it is not thought that they are actively chasing the player.

According to the same report, several United executives anticipate that Chelsea will make an offer, thus Chelsea may still provide Sancho with a different way out.

Raheem Sterling was left out of the matchday squad for Chelsea’s Sunday visit from Manchester City because to the abundance of wingers in Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea squad. Noni Madueke was not utilised as a substitute despite her outstanding preseason performance.

However, given the heights Sancho reached while at Dortmund, it may be too good an opportunity for Chelsea’s sporting directors to ignore. Sancho attended Man City’s academy for a while before joining BVB in 2017.

After scoring 50 goals in his next 137 games, he became a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for three years. The £73 million transfer of Sancho to United has proven to be a huge letdown.

The London-born winger is in his fourth season at Old Trafford and finished with six goals in his best Premier League campaign. And following their dispute with Ten Hag last season, he was sent back to Dortmund for a brief loan period.
