This is absolute injustice against Toffees for allowing them Everton to go unpunished”-Paul Merson reacts to ‘disgrace’ after what he was told about second charge[Check comment for full story link]

After hearing about Everton’s second charge, Paul Merson reacted with “disgrace” and said, “This is absolute injustice against Toffees for allowing them to go unpunished.”See the comment for the link to the full story.
Paul Merson has branded it as a “absolute disgrace” that the Profit and Sustainability (PSR) charges against Everton and Nottingham Forest might go unpunished until the season concludes.

With four points restored after appealing a 10-point deduction for PSR rule violations, Sean Dyche’s squad climbed out of the relegation zone; however, they could be subject to harsher punishments in the event of a second charge.
Sky Sports pundit Merson has described the situation as “mind-blowing,” and it is possible that the Toffees will not find out the full extent of any punishment until the Premier League season ends, if they decide to appeal against that second breach. Nottingham Forest is in a similar position.

His opinion: “In my humble opinion, it is a total embarrassment” (Sky Sports News, Saturday, 2 March, 12:10). It would take a miracle for Burnley and Sheffield United to avoid trouble, so I feel bad for everyone involved, but particularly Luton.

On the other hand, Brentford, Sheffield United, Forest, and Everton are all involved. With viewers from every corner of the globe, the Premier League is unmatched as a product. I can’t believe we have to wait until the season ends to find out how this can’t be fixed immediately. We need to get this taken care of as soon as possible.
Is a second point deduction in the cards for Everton and Nottingham Forest?
While Everton is likely to be relieved to have received some of the points they lost for their first violation of the profit and sustainability rules, the Toffees may be in for more punishment soon.
