Following the most recent update on Erik ten Hag’s injuries, Manchester United is facing an issue.

Erik ten Hag revealed last week that Aaron Wan-Bissaka had resumed his training after being forced to miss the Carrington session.

Wan-Bissaka was left out of the Manchester United team for their match against Aston Villa, and the manager shared some unfavorable news during yesterday’s injury update.

As for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Ten Hag stated that the right-back will be out for “a few weeks” due to an injury he sustained during practice last week.

The loss of Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a serious issue for Manchester United.
Due to his outstanding play for Manchester United, Diogo Dalot has earned a spot as the team’s first choice right back. But in all honesty, he has no backup.

Dalot is due for a slump at some point this season, having participated in 32 games already. He played poorly in the Carabao Cup loss to Newcastle at the end of October; ideally, he would have been substituted out for that match, but Wan-Bissaka was not available.

Tyrell Malacia has missed the entire season for Manchester United, so the team is already shorthanded at left-back. Although he is recovering from an injury, it is unlikely that he will rejoin the starting lineup anytime soon.

Regarding Luke Shaw’s fitness, there are also worries. Ten Hag stated he was optimistic but not certain that he would be ready to play again after being replaced during the half against Aston Villa.

Wan-Bissaka used to play on the right and Dalot on the left when he was out.

However, there aren’t many options now that Wan-Bissaka is out and Sergio Reguilon’s loan has been canceled.

A bad choice for a full-back is Victor Lindelof.
Against Aston Villa, Victor Lindelof entered the game at left defense. Playing a center-back out of position is not much of a solution, regardless of whether he switches with Dalot and plays left or right.

Maybe we can get away with having Lindelof there in opposition to Luton. And next week, at home against Fulham.

That doesn’t seem good in the FA Cup against Anthony Elanga of Nottingham Forest, who moves quickly. Not when United visits The Etihad to play City the following week.

Wan-Bissaka is probably going to miss every one of these games, so United needs Shaw to heal quickly and cannot afford for him or Dalot to get hurt.

It would be a significant loss, former defender Wes Brown said on MUTV’s The Debate this week. “You see when Lindelof come on it wasn’t the same, he wasn’t as fluid as Luke.”

Although Manchester United has recently experienced a lot of success, full-back injuries have been a recurring theme this season, made worse by the departure of young left-back Alvaro
