Alexander Zinchenko of Arsenal has been singled out by Paul Merson as a possible weak point in their Premier League title defense.
The Gunners are fighting for first place in the top division once more, but Merson worries that Zinchenko’s defensive flaws may prove to be his undoing. Before the Gunners lost to West Ham over the Christmas break, Merson made the remarks.
On Sky Sports, the former football player voiced his worries. “Arsenal is a different team now,” he declared. Declan Rice has elevated them to a new level, and they’ve learned a lot from the previous season.
