Roy Keane has claimed Erik ten Hag will be sacked soon for what he did after the Wigan win
Following his comments following Manchester United’s FA Cup victory over Wigan Athletic, Roy Keane says that Erik ten Hag will be fired as manager “in the next few months.”
The legendary Man United player Keane is renowned for his direct communication style and fearless viewpoints in the press.
In the FA Cup, the Red Devils defeated Wigan on Monday at DW Stadium. Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes’ goals ensured that United defeated the former Premier League team 2-0 and moved on to the FA Cup’s next round.
“The FA Cup is all about winning, it is knockout,” Ten Hag declared following the victory. You wish to complete the task. “Job done,” is what I said in the changing room.
When asked if he saw Ten Hag’s ideas being carried out, Keane responded as follows:
“Not really, no. That, in my opinion, is United’s main drawback—you always know what to expect when you arrive.
Keane, an ITV employee, was especially incensed when the United manager used the word “project.”
“The manager there mentions the ‘project,’ which probably means he’ll be leaving in the coming months,” Keane stated. The hated term “project.” No, I haven’t seen it in a few months, and I didn’t see it tonight with United either.
“Yet again, they advance to the next round and it’s a simple draw there as well, but you need to perform at a higher level. And you always hope for more, given the opportunities they had tonight.
On Sunday, Man United will make their Premier League comeback by taking on Tottenham, who are currently in fifth place.
The result of United’s final Premier League match was a 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest, which left the club embarrassed.
Now in eighth place, the team’s league standings must quickly improve if they are to have any chance of finishing in the top four.
