Manchester United enters a new era officially
Manchester United has officially entered a new era with the announcement that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will take over as the club’s sporting director.
The CEO of Ineos is giving up £1.25 billion to purchase a 25% share in his childhood team, Old Trafford, with the intention of halting the gradual decline that has occurred there since the Glazers’ leveraged takeover in 2005.
Erik ten Hag will be eager to bolster a team that has had its worst start to a season in club history, but it appears highly likely that United will need to raise money through player sales if they are to make any big mid-season additions.
Players to be sold or traded include but not limited to Jadon Sancho, who has had a really rough time with the club and it’s manager, casimero, Anthony Martial,Mason greenwoods..e t.c
