Man Utd is a great club but I’d join them on one condition – Man City star Kalvin Phillips set to Consider shock Man United switch in January transfer window amid strong Newcastle united
Although Manchester United is a fantastic team, there is one requirement I would have to meet before I could join: Kalvin Phillips, a star for Man City, will consider shocking In the January transfer window, Man United makes a change amid robust Man City star at Newcastle United told to think about Manchester United makes a transfer in January
Kalvin Phillips, a force in the midfield for Manchester City, is anticipated to depart the team during the January transfer window.
Michail Antonio, a forward for West Ham United, thinks Kalvin Phillips, a midfielder for Manchester City, should have Manchester United near the top of his list of potential suitors.
The England international is anticipated to leave City on loan during this month’s transfer window. He joined the team in July 2022 after leaving Leeds United. With just 31 appearances across all competitions since joining the Blues, he has struggled to get consistent opportunities.
In recent weeks, Phillips, who is having difficulty logging consistent minutes at the Etihad Stadium, has been connected to numerous clubs both domestically and internationally.
Juventus, a massive Italian team, is regarded as one of the favorites to sign him.
Antonio, who moved to West Ham from Nottingham Forest in 2015, believes that a move to Juventus would be the most profitable if he were in Phillips’ position.
He does, however, maintain that United should rank second on Phillips’ list of possible suitors if they were to pursue him.
During an interview with Footballer’s Football podcast, Antonio stated: “For me, I’m going to Juventus. Man United would come next, and then it would be the Magpies.”
“It’s from me; personally, I’ve always wanted to play in Italy. Inter Milan holds a special place in my heart, and I adore Milan.”
United was reportedly working on a deal to sign Phillips in April 2022, according to the Manchester Evening News. United plays Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup third round on Monday night. Naturally, the midfield player moved to City later that year.
Manager Pep Guardiola gave an update on Phillips’ prospects of leaving City this month in a statement on Friday. “I don’t know, only I said the last five days has been sick, he couldn’t train,” Guardiola said. I’ve said it a lot: the remainder on the transfer market. There’s Txiki [Begiristain].
“What is destined to occur will undoubtedly occur. Since I have no idea what the players want, I won’t be holding my breath. I know a few of them, but not all of them.
