Man United recieve huge boost in the race to sign 10-goal Dutch attacker ahead of Arsenal
Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee, according to Milan Live.
The 22-year-old player has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season, making him a potentially valuable addition for the two English clubs.
Arsenal and Manchester United’s level of interest will be intriguing to observe, particularly if they forward a formal approach to acquiring him.
Arsenal clearly require the acquisition of a high-caliber striker. Gabriel Jesus has only scored four goals in the league this season. They require a more proficient striker to lead the line if they aim to secure the league title.
Zirkzee will provide more competition to the team and enhance their attacking prowess in the final third. In addition to his goal-scoring prowess, the 22-year-old will also contribute creatively.
Manchester United also want further assistance in the assault. Rasmus Hojlund, a summer acquisition, has been doing quite well lately. Bringing in another striker would help distribute the responsibility of scoring goals alongside the Danish player.
Zirkzee will undoubtedly enjoy the chance to demonstrate his skills in English football, and his final destination is still unknown.
Arsenal and Manchester United are prominent global football teams, making the chance to play for them quite appealing.
The 22-year-old aspires to compete at a top-tier level, and transitioning to England would be the optimal advancement for him at this time.
