Man United ready to sell £250,000-a-week star this summer, Ten Hag’s future not important

Manchester United has determined that Jadon Sancho will not be part of the team’s future, regardless of Erik ten Hag’s presence at the club.

At the beginning of this season, the winger had a public disagreement with the Dutch coach, leading to the Red Devils loaning him to Borussia Dortmund.

If Ten Hag’s future at Manchester United remains unknown approaching the summer, some fans would believe that Sancho could have another opportunity if the Red Devils’ manager departs.

Football Insider believes that the 23-year-old will be sold regardless of the presence of the Dutch coach at Old Trafford.

The report indicates that Manchester United will need to sell assets in order to finance new acquisitions this summer to adhere to financial fair play requirements.

The Manchester club is open to considering a reasonable offer for Sancho, but they acknowledge that it will fall far short of the £73m they spent to acquire the 23-year-old from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.

The Premier League heavyweights will at least remove the winger’s substantial £250,000-a-week income from their financial records. It is uncertain who will acquire the Englishman from the Red Devils.

Dortmund may convert their temporary loan agreement for the 23-year-old into a permanent one, but they are reluctant to pay a substantial amount, and Sancho will need to accept a reduced salary.

Interest may exist in the Premier League, but who will be willing to assume the risk? The 23-year-old has seen significant changes since moving from Germany to England two and a half years ago, making it a risky investment.
