Man United fans will be happy to hear what Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said about Erik ten Hag’s future

Jamie Carragher believes that after Sir Jim Ratcliffe took over, Erik ten Hag is essentially an interim coach until the end of the season and is on trial.

They are said to have delivered the same message in a number of staff meetings this week, stating unequivocally that United’s recent on-field performance has been intolerable.

Their mission is to return United to the greatness and prosperity of Sir Alex Ferguson’s day.
