“I will be on the pitch tomorrow”-Boost for Tottenham as player believes he will be back next weekend – Recovery going much quicker than first thought
“I will be on the pitch tomorrow”—Tottenham receive a boost as player expresses confidence in returning next weekend — The pace of recovery is significantly faster than anticipated.
Richarlison, a star for Tottenham Hotspur, is sure he’ll be playing for his club and nation again soon.
Since Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou had previously stated that the player would be out for two or three weeks, there were some skeptics when Brazil national team manager Dorival Junior announced the squad last week.
Now, after Tottenham’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace, Richarlison spoke to ESPN Brasil, where he discussed his recall and his recovery in preparation for the upcoming friendlies with England and Spain.
In response to a question regarding his injury, the player stated that he is preparing to play for Spurs again and expressed his joy at being back on the Brazil squad.
I don’t mind at all. When we scored, didn’t you notice my incredible sprint? According to Richarlison, “I’m already training,” meaning he will be out on the field tomorrow and should be fully prepared for next Saturday’s game.
Prior to the international break, Tottenham will play two more games. Richarlison said Saturday, but they play Aston Villa on Sunday instead. On the 16th, they take on Fulham.
Brazil will play these friendlies to determine their Copa América roster, so the striker has a great opportunity to prove he is healthy and worthy of a starting spot.
