“I hate watching it”— Declan Rice made his feelings about Tottenham apparent…
Both Tottenham and Arsenal are fighting for important causes as we enter the final few months of the season.
In one section of north London, winning the Premier League title is the goal, while in the other, playing in the Champions League is the objective.
Even though Declan Rice claims to “hates watching” all of Arsenal’s opponents, he is eagerly anticipating the challenge of facing them on April 27 and potentially ruining their season.
The record-breaking club signer told Sky Sports that he sent his flowers to Tottenham Hotspur, managed by Ange Postecoglou, in recognition of the high quality of the Premier League.
Even though they lost Harry Kane in the summer transfer window, Tottenham have bounced back and are now in a position to play in the Champions League.
In the wake of losing such a pivotal player, most teams would have crumbled. However, Ange Postecoglou showed remarkable composure and guided his squad to a near-top finish.
That’s why Declan Rice was quick to praise Celtic’s performance under the Treble winner, calling it “unreal.” Celtic, who drew Spurs 1-1 at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season, will now aim for the championship.
Deon Rice’s thoughts on Tottenham
“I despise being a spectator nowadays,” Rice exclaimed. I keep my mind on the task at hand, even though I can see the outcomes. What other people do is beyond our control.
There is no weaker league. The Man City team is incredible. The Reds are incredible. Ange has spurs playing like a dream team. Additionally, Villa have been excellent under Emery’s leadership.Every game is incredibly challenging, and no one can be ignored. There is no set pattern. Going out there each week and knowing that I have to perform at a high level is something I’m really looking forward to.
“Got thirteen more to go? What’s it?” Only twelve more to go? We have one game left. Avoid planning ahead. Everyone has their own set of difficult fixtures; the rest is history.
Whichever north London area you think will score the most points will be devastating to the other.
Disruption is inevitable; after all, Tottenham would prefer not to have their archrivals show up and potentially claim English football’s most prestigious trophy right in front of them.
With so much football yet to be played, the 2023–24 season finale may provide the most drama of the entire thing.
