Following a four-year ban from football, Paul Pogba delivered a moving speech.

Following the news that he will be sidelined for four years, Paul Pogba released a heartfelt statement. The 2018 World Cup winner will present their case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Pogba stated, “I was told of the Tribunale Nazionale Antidoping’s decision and I think it is wrong,” in opposition to accepting the suspension.

The fact that I now lack everything I devoted my professional playing career to building up is heartbreaking.

“The whole story will become clear when I’m not constrained by the law, but I have never knowingly or purposely taken any supplements that violate anti-doping regulations.”

“As a professional athlete, I have never cheated or disrespected athletes or supporters of any team I have played for or against. I would never use illegal drugs to improve my performance.”

“I will take this to the Court of Arbitration for Sport because of the decision made today.”

This is due to Pogba’s positive testosterone test results following Juventus’ Serie A opener against Udinese. The star may have inadvertently consumed the material that resulted in the test being negative, according to Pogba’s attorneys.

The referees ruled against Pogba’s attorneys and handed the football player a severe penalty. Pogba has already stated that he intends to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, demonstrating his unwillingness to give up easily.

After having a difficult time at United, Pogba returned to his former team, Juventus, in an attempt to rebuild his career. For a record-breaking £93.2 million, Pogba joined the Premier League team in 2013. But after just six years of signing the contract, he left Old Trafford.

But after returning to Turin, things didn’t go as planned for him. Pogba joined Juventus for free in the summer of 2022 and inked a four-year contract, but due to injuries, he has only made 12 appearances for the big club. Pogba, a Frenchman with 91 caps, has been banned from football, so his days with Juventus and possibly as a player are over.
