Man Utd is still eager to make the proper choices in the transfer market that remains, even after adding four players—all of them expensive—this transfer window. Part of that effort may involve examining market possibilities.

Juventus winger Federico Chiesa is one player who epitomises a market potential this summer.

The 2025-contract winger from Juventus’ project under Thiago Motta is expected to be available for a very low price.

Last month, Man Utd were rumoured to be interested in the 26-year-old playmaker, and it was reported that the Old Lady was demanding £42.4 million in order to let Chiesa go.

According to Sport (picture attached at the end), the footballer may now be had for as little as £12.8 million (15 million euros).

According to the article, Chiesa’s career in Turin cannot be reversed, and the club is eager to remove his £5.1 million annual wage off their books. They do not want to consider a loan proposal and want to make sure there is a sale this summer.

Chiesa has been approached by Chelsea and Manchester United of the Premier League, but he has not yet accepted because Barcelona is his top objective. This summer, the Catalan club is considering a move for the Euro 2020 sensation.

The Italian international has had a challenging few seasons. He had an ACL injury that required extensive recovery, which prevented him from playing football for a while. Furthermore, he was unable to perform at his peak at the Euro 2024.

If a club manages to sign Chiesa this summer, it would be a fantastic trade with enormous rewards if they do it well. For Manchester United, this is a no-brainer, but it is unclear if the player will choose to visit Old Trafford.
